Under the auspices of the Graduate School-New Brunswick, the TA Project offers several interdisciplinary courses on teaching which focus on pedagogical methods as well as contemporary issues for faculty in colleges and universities. Open to doctoral students, these courses expand students' skill sets on issues related to college teaching. Especially important, success in these Pass/Fail courses is recorded on a student's transcript providing a strong message to future employers that this student cares about teaching. These free, 0-credit courses, are an important indicator of one's commitment to strengthening the quality of undergraduate education. Any doctoral student who is interested in becoming a post-secondary faculty member should strongly consider enrollment in these courses.
